It’s Sourdough September

It’s Sourdough September

My interest in making sourdough bread started in 2010; we'd just returned to the UK from living in Australia. I quickly realised that the average supermarket loaf was not particularly inspiring, and I was suffering from bloating and IBS like symptoms.

Ten years on, and whilst we did start selling bread to local customers, the COVID-19 pandemic stopped that, although I'm still baking several times a week for our own consumption.

Rather than repeat what the Real Bread Campaign has to say about sourdough, I'll just link to them here, take a look and if you want to start making your own sourdough bread, why not kick start the process with one of our Sourdough Starter Kits.
